DATE

Displays or sets the date.

DATE [/T | date]

Where:

  • /T - Shows the current date without prompting to change it.
  • date - Specifies the new date in dd/mm/yy format (depends on locale).

If you do not specify any parameters, it displays the current date and asks you to reset it. Press ENTER to keep the same date.

Examples:

1. Display the date:

date /t

 

2. Change the date to February 12, 2056:

date 12/02/56

echo %date%
