Recovers readable information from a damaged or defective disk.

RECOVER [drive:][path]filename

Where:

• [drive:][path]filename - Specifies the file to recover.

Example: Recover the brnkslmndt.doc file in the path D:\fsdie:

recover D:\fsdie\brnkslmndt.doc
